This prescription was originally designed for stomach abscess and intestinal abscess, but now it is more widely used. All carbuncles, sores and boils with syndrome of blood stasis and heat can be used with addition or subtraction of this prescription. Immature Orange Fruit in the prescription is bitter in taste and slightly cold in nature. It is good at regulating qi and breaking stagnation and removing restless heat; Peony Root cools blood and relieves pain; Platycodon Root Kaiti lung qi and expelling pus. The combination of the three medicines can break Qi and stagnation, clear away heat and harmonize Ying, expelling pus and eliminate carbuncle. It has a mild nature and is suitable for use by chronic patients.

1. For severe heat: add Patrinia, Hedyotis, Dandelion.
2. More bleeding: add black Sanguisorba, black Schizonepeta, and Hinoki cypress.
3. blood stasis Intestine: Add Rhubarb and Peony Peel Decoction.
4. The pus has not yet formed but is swollen: add Yinhua, Forsythia.
5. The pus has ulcerated: add Astragalus Root and Chinese Angelica. Or sterilize with fluid retention.
