This recipe is Four Gentlemen Decoction with added flavor. The four gentlemen in the prescription replenish the qi of the spleen and stomach; Patchouli is pungent and warm, aromatic herbs resolving dampness, dispelling dampness and harmonizing to stop vomiting; Aucklandia Root is hard and warm, moving qi and relieves pain; Pueraria Ganxinping encourages stomach qi to ascend and stop diarrhea.
