Among the 43 cases, 29 were male and 14 were female, ranging in age from 8 months to 51 years old, and the duration of the disease was 2 hours to 4 days. The onset is mostly from June to August. Wet compresses with 5% alum solution were used for treatment, and all were cured (the pain disappeared, the erythema subsided. The pimples dried up, and the depigmentation did not leave any obvious discoloration). Five cases (11.63%) were cured in 1 day, 6 cases (13.95%) were cured in 2 days, 16 cases (37.21%) were cured in 3 days, 14 cases (32.56%) were cured in 4 days, and 2 cases were cured in 5 days. (4.65%), with an average recovery time of 3.09 days.
