The late name was Yingningsheng. His ancestral home was Xiangcheng (now Xiangcheng County, Henan Province). He later moved to Yizhen (now Yizheng County, Jiangsu Province) and then to Yuyao now Yuyao County, Zhejiang Province. Hua Shou He was smart and eager to learn since childhood, good at poetry and prose, and well versed in classics and history. First, Wang Ju, a famous doctor in Jingkou (now Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province), studied traditional Chinese medicine. After studying Suwen and Nan Jing, I gained a lot of experience, so I wrote Read Suwen Copy and Nanjing Benyi Two books. After that, he carefully studied the theories of Zhang Zhong-jing, Liu Shou-zhen and Li Dong-yuan, and gained a thorough understanding of them. Later, he studied acupuncture with Gao Dongyang of Dongping (now Dongping County, Shandong Province), and then he studied meridian and collateral carefully. He took the theories about meridian and collateral from books such as Neijing and wrote Shisijing Fahui 3 volumes.
