Mainly based on Bencao Gangmu and Shennong Bencao Jingshu. The first volume is the general meaning of medicinal property, which discusses the nature and taste of medicines, meridian tropism and processing of materia medica. Summary: Volume 1 has 191 kinds of herbal medicines, Volume 2 has 83 species of woody medicines, Volume 3 has 31 species of fruit medicines, and Volume 3 has four cereals. There are 40 kinds of medicines in the Department of Medicine, including 58 kinds of woodland medicines in Stoney Edema, 25 kinds of medicines in the Department of Animals and Animals in Volume 6, 41 kinds of medicines in the Department of Fish and Insects in Volume 7, and 9 kinds of medicines in the Department of Humans in Volume 8, totaling 478 kinds.
