This book was written by Yu Tuan and was completed in Zhengde Yihai (1515). It is based on the gist of Suwen and Nan Jing, and is based on the theories of various schools of thought, extensive collection, and personal opinions. Published in Xinmao, Jiajing (1531). There were reprinted editions in the fifth year (1577) and the sixth year (1578) of Wanli Dynasty, and there were lithographic editions in the modern Huiwen Hall. Japan has annual editions of 1604, 1622, and 1659. People's Medical Publishing House published it twice in 1965 and 1981.

This book has 8 volumes in total. The first volume of Volume 1 contains 51 items on "Medicine or Questions", which explains the origin, teaching and acceptance, harm and control of medicine, Danxi Yishuo, Comprehensive analysis of four examinations and other contents are quite insightful. After "Or Asking", nearly a hundred diseases and syndromes were described according to internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology, and pediatrics, and more than a thousand prescriptions were collected.
