[description]

Written by Luo Tian-yi, it has a total of twenty-four volumes and one additional volume. The year of writing is unknown and it was published in 1281. The Yuan printed version of this book was lost due to war. The earliest surviving version can be found in the series Ji Sheng Jing Jing compiled by Du Sijing in the Yuan Dynasty, but the content is incomplete. In 1417, Yang Rong and Han Gongda edited and published this book, but it was not widely circulated in later generations. The main existing versions include: the Xiyinxuan Series of Li Xiling's school journal in 1846, the printed version of The Commercial Press in 1959, etc.

The book has a total of 25 articles, mainly including
  • "Everlasting Lessons from Medication Mistakes": It is analyzed in the form of medical records and combined with a special topic to warn students and colleagues not to make mistakes in mistreatment.
  • "Collection of Famous Prescriptions": 766 ancient and modern effective prescriptions are selected, which are based on syndromes, have complete theories and methods, and discuss the diagnosis and treatment of various clinical diseases. This is the main part of the book.
  • "Medicinal Dharma Image": Briefly describe the pharmacological theories of Zhang Yuan-su and Li Gao, such as nature, taste, efficacy, etc.
  • "Medical Records": It records the author's long-term clinical diagnosis and treatment experience and is rich in content.
  • The last part is the "Supplement", which is a selection of Zhang Zhong-jing's prescriptions for diseases such as exogenous infection, summerheat stroke, etc., which were added by others after the Yuan Dynasty.
This book is theoretically based on Suwen and Nan Jing to find out the reason, and fully absorbs Li Gao's "Spleen and Stomach Theory" and Zhang Yuan-su and Zhang The understanding of doctors such as Bi and Qian Yi systematically elaborated on the syndrome differentiation and treatment theory of zang-fu organ Zabing, which has distinctive characteristics of the "Yishui School".

When using drugs for clinical syndromes, the relevant drug theories of Jiegu and Dongyuan are introduced in a large space, and the flexible syndrome differentiation and drug use ideas such as relative medicine to syndrome, consistency of name and reality, and addition and subtraction according to syndrome are emphasized.
