This book is also known as Zhenjiu Juying Fahui, written by Gao Wu, containing theories of acupuncture and moxibustion, meridian and collateral back transport points, methods of acupuncture and moxibustion, and some introductory songs and verses for beginners. It is a comprehensive book on acupuncture and moxibustion. Published in the eighth year of Jiajing (1529). The existing versions can be divided into two categories: one is the 4-volume version, such as the Ming Dynasty block-printed edition and the post-founding of the People's Republic of China printed edition; the other is the 8-volume version, such as the Japanese reprinted edition. The content of both versions is the same.

According to the order of the 4-volume version, the beginning of the volume includes "Collected Bibliography", briefly introducing 16 previous works on acupuncture and moxibustion such as Nan Jing and Suwen. Volume 1 discusses the five zang-organs and six fu-organs, the dimensions of the supine and prone human body, yin-yang multiple abscesses of the hands and feet, the middle finger body-cun method, the twelve meridians, the eight extraordinary meridians, and the circulation and main diseases of the meridian points, accompanied by meridian point diagrams. Volume 2 includes various methods for locating points, such as the bamboo horse method. Volume 3 covers needle boiling, fire needle, warm needle, needle removal, fainting needle, reinforcing and reducing techniques, needling methods, and moxibustion. Volume 4 contains 63 songs and verses, including the songs of the points of the fourteen meridians. The appendix includes a Q&A on acupuncture and moxibustion treatment.
