This book is also called Zhenjiu Juying Play, written by Gao Wu. It contains acupuncture and moxibustion theory, meridian and collateral back transport point, acupuncture and moxibustion methods and some introductory poems for beginners. , is a comprehensive acupuncture and moxibustion book. Published in the eighth year of Jiajing (1529). The existing editions can be divided into two categories: one is a 4-volume edition, such as the Ming Dynasty edition and the printed edition after the founding of the People's Republic of China; the other is an 8-volume edition, such as the Japanese edition. Both versions have the same content.
In order of 4 volumes, the first volume is "Collected Bibliography", which introduces 16 previous works of
Acupuncture and Moxibustion such as
Nan Jing and
Suwen . Volume 1 discusses five zang-organs six fu-organs, the size of a supine person, yin-yang multiple abscess of hands and feet, middle finger body-cun method, twelve meridians, eight extra meridians and the progression and main diseases of the meridian points they belong to, with meridian attached meridian point diagram. Volume 2 contains various acupuncture methods such as the bamboo horse riding method. Volume 3 covers boiling acupuncture, fire acupuncture, warming acupuncture, removing acupuncture, fainting acupuncture, reinforcing and purging techniques, acupuncture, moxibustion, etc. Volume 4 contains 63 songs and poems including the songs of points of fourteen meridians.
