It lists 108 syndromes and over 300 prescriptions: it includes illustrations and mnemonic verses, with relatively rich content; it provides detailed explanations of metal needle cataract surgery and other ophthalmic surgeries such as hooking, cutting, needling, and cauterization, and systematically elaborates on ophthalmic theories such as the five orbiculi and eight regions.
