[Origin]

The point is located where the pulse of the dorsal artery of the foot (Fuyang pulse) is strong, so it is called "Chong"; it is also located high on the dorsum of the foot, so it is called "Yang".

[Anatomy]

• Muscles: extensor digitorum longus tendon on the lateral side and extensor pollicis longus tendon on the medial side.
• Nerve: The dorsal medial cutaneous nerve from the superficial peroneal nerve, and the deep peroneal nerve.
• Vessels: dorsalis pedis artery, vein and dorsal pedis venous network.

[Manipulation]

Shallow needling 0.3 to 0.5 inches (moxibustion). Direct moxibustion is prohibited, moxibustion with moxa stick is prohibited for 5 to 10 minutes.
