On anterior thigh, along the line connecting anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS) and lateral border of patellar base, 6 cun above patellar base, at the belly of rectus femoris muscle.

  • Nerve: anterior cutaneous branch of femoral nerve, lateral femoral cutaneous nerve.
  • Vessels: branches of the lateral circumflex femoral artery and vein.
