In the lower abdomen, 2 cun below the umbilicus (Shimen (CV5)), 2 cun lateral to the midline, 2 cun below Tianshu (ST25).

  • Muscles: Rectus abdominis and its sheath.
  • Nerve: Eleventh intercostal nerve.
  • Vessels: branches of the eleventh intercostal artery and vein, and the inferior epigastric artery and vein on the lateral side.

Perpendicular insertion 1~1.5 cun. Moxibustion with moxa cone 5 ~ 7 rounds, moxibustion with moxa stick 10 ~ 20 minutes.

  • Modern: Enteritis, abdominal pain.
