【Origin】
The Xiguan (LR7) node is shaped like the top of the crane's head, and the point is at the top of the patella, hence the name Heding (EX-LE2).
【Location】
In the upper knee, in the depression above the midpoint of the patellar base.
【Anatomy】
In the quadriceps tendon; there is the Xiguan (LR7) arterial network; there are anterior cutaneous branches and muscular branches of the femoral nerve.
【Manipulation】
Perpendicular insertion 0.5～0.8 inches.
【Efficacy】
Weak paralysis of both feet, crane knee phlegm, athlete's foot, and pain in Xiguan (LR7) joints.
