bubble_chart Etymology
"Er" (二), two; "bai" (白), white. This acupoint is located near hand taiyin lung meridian. In traditional Chinese medicine, lung corresponds to color white. Since there are two points in one location, it is named "Erbai" (two whites).

On palmar side of the forearm, 4 cun above transverse crease of wrist, on both sides of the tendon of radial flexor muscle of wrist. There are two points on each side.

- Muscles: superficial digital muscle.
- Vessels: radial artery and vein, interosseous palmar artery and vein.
- Nerve: medial cutaneous nerve of forearm, lateral cutaneous nerve of forearm, median nerve and radial nerve.

Perpendicular insertion 0.5~0.8 cun.

Hemorrhoids fistula disease, bleeding, tenesmus, itching or pain, rectal prolapse.

- Chronic hemorrhoids: Erbai (EX-UE2), Changqiang (GV1), Chengshan (BL57).
- Hemorrhoids and anal fistulas: Erbai (EX-UE2), Changqiang (GV1), Wenliu (LI7), Huiyang (BL35), ashi point (located by palpating for tender spots around 7th thoracic vertebra and the lumbosacral region).
