"Xin" (囟), fontanel. "hui" (會), meeting. This acupoint is located at the site of anterior fontanel (frontal fontanel).

On the midline of head, 2 cun behind anterior hairline, 3 cun in front of Baihui (GV20).
  • Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "1 cun behind Shangxing (GV23), in the depression between bones";
  • Xunjing Kaoxue Bian: "2 cun within anterior hairline".

  • Muscle: galea aponeurotica. The deeper layer corresponds to the junction of coronal and sagittal sutures of skull.
  • Nerve: branches of frontal nerve.
  • Vessel: anastomotic network of left and right superficial temporal artery and vein.
