On the midline of head, 3.5 cun behind anterior hairline, 1.5 cun in front of
Baihui (GV20).

- Muscle: galea aponeurotica.
- Nerve: junction of branches of frontal nerve and greater occipital nerve.
- Vessel: anastomotic network of left and right superficial temporal artery and vein.

Insert subcutaneously 0.5~1 cun forward, backward, or toward temporal side.

Dispel wind, improve vision.
- Classical: dizziness, blurred vision, aversion to wind-cold, red and swollen face, vertex pain, facial puffiness, sudden redness and swelling of eyes, blindness, excessive clear nasal discharge, fright epilepsy in children .
- Modern: hemiplegia due to stroke.
