On the lateral aspect of lower leg, 7 cun above the tip of external malleolus, in the depression anterior to fibula. It is located at the midpoint of the line connecting
Yanglingquan (GB34) and the tip of external malleolus, level with
Yangjiao (GB35).
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "7 cun above external malleolus";
- Zhenjiu Jicheng: "At the same level as Yangjiao (GB35), with Waiqiu (GB36) in front and Yangjiao (GB35) behind";
- Lingmen Chuanshou Tongren Zhixue: Illustrations also confirm this;
- Zhenfang Liuji: "Level with Yangjiao (GB35), 1 cun behind", though this may be an error regarding the front and back positions.
