On the deltoid muscle of the shoulder, when the arm is abducted or stretched forward, it is in the depression on the front and outside of the acromion.
crossing point: hand yangming, the meeting of Qi Mai. Leijing Tuyi: "The meeting of hand taiyang, Yangming and Yangqi."
[Origin]
Shoulder, shoulder; Kui, front angle. The point is located in front of the shoulder bone (the acromion of the scapula), hence the name.

- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "Between the two bones at the end of the shoulder";
- Qianjin Yaofang ‧ Zhu Feng: "In the middle of the two shoulders" ;
- Xunjing Kaoxue Bian: "The upper end of the arm bone is between the two bones. Straight to the point of the bent elbow, you must rest your arms or turn your hands to your waist to relax the needle."
- Muscles: deltoid, subdeltoid bursa; deep layer has supraspinatus tendon.
- Nerve: The skin and subcutaneous tissue have dual distribution of the lateral brachial epithelial nerve and the supraclavicular nerve.
Oblique insertion of 1 to 1.5 inches from the elbow of the hanging arm to the deltoid muscle; or, with the upper arm in the abducted position, insert 1 to 2 inches deep along the anteromedial aspect of the humeral head toward the axilla. moxa cone moxibustion 3 ~ 5 strong, moxibustion with moxa stick 5 ~ 10 minutes.
Evacuate meridian and collateral wind-dampness, clear Yangming Qi and fire, clear joints, dispel evil and relieve fever.
- Classical: Heat in the shoulder, cold shoulder, finger paralysis and arm pain, partial wind, hemiplegia, rubella rash, arm cramps and pain, thin and weak arms, muscle and bone aches, wind-dampness in both shoulders and limbs hot.
- Modern: apoplexy, hemiplegia, hypertension, periarthritis, urticaria measles.
