The midpoint of the carpometacarpal crease, the depression between the palmaris longus muscle and the flexor carpi radialis tendon.
- Lingshu‧Benshu: "Between the two bones behind the palm, it is also downward";
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "Behind the palm "The person who sinks between the two tendons is in the middle", Qianjin Yaofang‧: "The first horizontal line behind the cloud palm is between the two tendons";

[Anatomy]
- Muscles: flexor carpi radialis tendon on the radial side, palmaris longus tendon on the ulnar side; flexor pollicis longus, flexor digitorum superficialis tendon, and flexor digitorum profundus tendon.
- Nerve: Dual distribution of the medial and lateral cutaneous nerves of the forearm, the palmar cutaneous branch of the median nerve, and the deep trunk of the median nerve.
- Vessel: artery and vein network on the palmar side of the wrist.
[Manipulation]
The perpendicular insertion is 0.3 to 0.5 inches, and should not be too deep to avoid injury to the median nerve trunk. Moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.
