bubble_chart Category Jing-river (metal) point.
bubble_chart Etymology
"Jian" (間), gap; "shi" (使), pathway. Suwen‧Linglan Midian Lun states: "If the ruler is not clear, then the twelve officials will be in danger, the pathways will be blocked and impassable, and the body will suffer severe damage." Wang Bing commented: "The 'pathways' refers to which spirit and qi circulate through." The acupoint is located on palmar side of forearm, between two tendons, and belongs to hand jueyin pericardium meridian, which is connected to heart. Hence its name."
