[Origin]
Between, the gap; to make, to make the way. Suwen‧Linglan Midian Lun: "If the master is not clear, the twelve organs will be in danger, and the way will be blocked and the body will be seriously damaged." On the volar side of the forearm, 3 inches above the wrist crease, between the palmaris longus tendon and the flexor carpi radialis tendon, when Quze (PC3) and Daling (PC7).
- Lingshu‧Benshu: "Between two tendons, within three inches";
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "Between the back of the palm and Three inches, the one between the two tendons is trapped."
- Muscles: The radial side is the flexor carpi radialis tendon, the ulnar side is the palmaris longus tendon; the superficial layer is the flexor digitorum superficialis muscle, the deep layer is the flexor digitorum profundus muscle, pronator quadratus muscle, and the volar surface of the interosseous membrane of the forearm.
- Nerve: Dual distribution of the medial and lateral cutaneous nerves of the forearm, the palmar cutaneous branch of the median nerve; the deep radial side is the median nerve trunk; the deepest layer is the interosseous palmar nerve of the forearm.
- Blood vessels: the median forearm vein, the radial side is the median artery; the deep layer is the interosseous artery and vein on the volar side of the forearm.
Perpendicular insertion 0.5~1 inch. Care should be taken to avoid injury to the median nerve trunk (especially when performing acupoint injections). moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 5 minutes; moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.
It calms the mind, soothes the mind, broadens the mind, and cures malaria.
- Classical: heart pain, palpitation, chest impediment, dysphoria, madness, vomiting, lump in the throat, aphonia, malaria, menstrual irregularities, blood clots, Rebing trouble, Red face, yellow eyes, swollen armpits, arm pain, difficulty in flexion and extension, elbow pain, elbow spasm, and heat in the palms.
- Modern: wind-dampness heart disease, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, myocarditis, schizophrenia, simple goiter, breast lump (hyperplasia of mammary gland).
