"Qu" (曲), bend or curve; "ze" (澤), marsh. The point is located in the depression of elbow bend, where meridian qi becomes shallower and broader compared to the "pool" (chi, 池).

Quze acupoint

Located in transverse crease of elbow, in the depression on ulnar side of biceps brachii tendon.
- Lingshu‧Benshu: "In the depression on inner side of elbow, obtained by bending arm";
- Shenying Jing: "In the transverse crease on inner side of the large tendon, where the artery is located";
- Xunjing Kaoxue Bian: "Adjacent to Chize (LU5), approximately 1 cun apart";
- Donggong Anmo Mijue: "In the exact center of inner side of elbow".
