Note, the place where Qi and blood are transfused refers to acupoint. The point meets Yinjiao (CV7) in the mid-abdomen. Hence the name.

The lower abdomen is 1 inch below the umbilicus (
Yinjiao (CV7)) and 5 minutes apart.

[Anatomy]
- Muscles: internal and external oblique tendon membrane, transversus abdominis tendon membrane, rectus abdominis (deep part is small intestine).
- Nerve: Tenth intercostal nerve.
- Vessels: Muscular branches of inferior epigastric artery and vein.
[Manipulation]
Perpendicular insertion 0.5~1.5 inches. moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 5 times, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.
[Efficacy]
Regulates intestines and relieves constipation.
- Classical: abdominal pain, lower abdominal heat, difficulty in defecation, diarrhea, lumbar pain, menstrual irregularities, and stringy urine.
