bubble_chart Category Jing-river (gold) point.
bubble_chart Etymology
"Fu" (復), also written as "伏", meaning hidden or concealed; "liu" (溜), flowing. The qi of foot shaoyin kidney meridian flows deeply and becomes concealed at this point. The point is located posterior to the transition area between soleus muscle and Achilles tendon, hence its alternate name "Fubai" (伏白, hidden white) (Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing). It is also situated along Changyang meridian (a branch of kidney meridian in lower leg), giving it the alternate name "Changyang" (昌陽) (Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing).
