Hanmen-Yang Xiong Zhuan: "Passing through golden gate, ascending to jade hall." The point is named because there is a bone crossing above it. It is also called "Guanliang" (關梁), which carries a similar meaning.

On lateral side of foot, directly below anterior edge of outer ankle, in the depression at lower border of cuboid bone. It is located at midpoint of the line connecting Shenmai (BL62) and Jinggu (BL64).

  • Muscles: peroneus longus tendon, abductor digiti minimi.
  • Nerve: lateral dorsal cutaneous nerve of foot, and the deep layer is lateral plantar nerve.
  • Vessels: lateral plantar artery and vein.

Perpendicular insertion 0.3~0.5 cun. Moxibustion with moxa cone 3 to 5 times, moxibustion with moxa stick for 10 to 15 minutes.
