Rank, order; edge, edge. This point is located at the bottom of the second lateral line of the foot greater yang bladder meridian (BL) on the back, hence the name.

Buttocks, 3 inches lateral to the median sacral crest, and the 4th posterior sacral foramen (
Xialiao (BL34) ) and at the level below the twenty-first vertebra, in the greater sciatic foramen.
[Anatomy]
- Muscles: gluteus maximus, lower edge of piriformis muscle.
- Nerve: The deep layer is the origin of the inferior gluteal nerve and the posterior femoral cutaneous nerve, and the lateral side is the sciatic nerve.
- Vessels: inferior gluteal artery and vein.
[Manipulation]
Perpendicular insertion 1 to 3 inches. moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 7 weeks, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.
[Efficacy]
Strengthen the waist and legs, and benefit the lower jiao.
- Classical: Lumbago cannot pitch, cannot lift, vaginal pain, difficulty in urination and defecation, red urine, enuresis, hemorrhoids, leg pain, seminal emission, leukorrhea.
- Modern: low back and leg pain, sciatica, lower limb paralysis, pelvic diseases.
