[Origin]
Second, second, second; Liao, also known as 窭, bone hole. The point is the second posterior sacral foramen, located under Shangliao (BL31), second to Baliao point, hence its name.

[Anatomy]
- Muscle: Origin of gluteus maximus.
- Nerve: posterior branch of the second sacral nerve.
- Vessels: posterior branches of lateral sacral artery and vein.
[Manipulation]
Directly opposite the posterior sacral foramen perpendicular insertion or slightly downward oblique insertion 1 to 2 inches. It should not be too deep to avoid passing through the sacral hole and injuring the rectum and bladder. moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 7 weeks, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.
