'Wangu' (腕骨), wrist bone. The point is located near pisiform bone, hence the name.

On the ulnar side of palm at the border of red and white flesh, in the depression between the base of 5th metacarpal bone and hamate bone. When flexing wrist, it is at the ulnar end of distal wrist crease.
  • LingshuBenshu: "Between bones on the outer side of wrist";
  • Yixue Rumen: "In the depression below the high bone on the outer side of palm, obtained by clenching fist inward";
  • Xunjing Kaoxue Bian: "Two cun behind Houxi (SI3)";
  • Zhenjiu Jicheng: "At the end of transverse crease on palm".

  • Muscle: outer edge of abductor digiti minimi muscle origin.
  • Nerve: the dorsal palmar nerve of ulnar nerve.
  • Vessels: branches of ulnar artery (dorsal carpal artery), venous network on the dorsum of hand.

Perpendicular insertion 3 to 5 fen. Moxibustion with moxa cone 3 to 5 times, moxibustion with moxa stick for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Classical: febrile disease without sweating, headache, stiffness and pain in neck and nape, cheek swelling extending to the ear, pharyngitis, nasal congestion, epistaxis, vomiting, consumptive thirst, hypochondriac pain, jaundice, finger spasm and arm pain, wrist pain and weakness, tinnitus, ocular nebula, lockjaw, lower back pain, inability to extend elbow, nasal discharge, malaria, mania, inability to flex or extend five fingers, excessive fire in heart and small intestine, restless.
  • Modern: cholecystitis, arthritis of elbow, wrist, and fingers, diabetes, gastritis.
