[Origin]

Spirit, mind; Tao, acupoint. The acupoint belongs to hand lesser yin heart meridian (HT), which is the acupoint of the soul.

On the volar side of the forearm, 1.5 inches above the transverse wrist crease (Shenmen (HT7)), in the depression on the radial side of the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon.
  • Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "One inch and five minutes behind the palm";
  • Xunjing Kaoxue Bian: "One method: in Yanggu (SI5) One inch behind, below the ribs and above the big tendons."

[Anatomy]

  • Muscle: Between the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon and the flexor digitorum superficialis muscle, the deep layer is the flexor digitorum profundus muscle.
  • Nerve: The medial cutaneous nerve of the forearm, and the ulnar nerve on the ulnar side.
  • Vessel: ulnar artery.

[Manipulation]

Perpendicular insertion 0.3~0.5 inches. moxa cone moxibustion 1 to 3 times, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 3 to 5 minutes.
